With large metal-framed picture windows and an industrial-loft style, Llama Inn is totally in line with Brooklyn's atmosphere. On the contrary, its front door seems to be straight out of a bygone era, as you push finely carved wooden panels. Rows of tables then come in sight, like in a stripped-down modern brasserie. In the back, a piece of art stands out with multicoloured threads of fabric mingling in contrast with the clear and stylish atmosphere.
Even more surprising is the menu, displaying its Peruvian origins, or at least greatly inspired by Llama country. Indulge in a timeless charcoal-grilled octopus ceviche, served with crispy squids and sweet potatoes, or for something more original, a banana quinoa with avocado, bacon and cashews. The most adventurous will tackle the huge fillet of beef grilled in marinated hot peppers. This singular approach to food earned Llama Inn a nod in the Bib Gourmand listings, true seal of quality. Do not hesitate and go!
